A perfect 4 day trip in Rwanda New Horizons Africa Safaris provided us with an excellent and amazing trip to Rwanda for gorilla trekking. From our very first contact via email, the company was professional, welcoming and kind.
We were amazed at the very high quality that we received in our outstanding guide, Emmanuel, the superb accommodations at Tiloreza Volcano Lodge and our well- planned and flawlessly executed itinerary.
The company was very responsive to our needs/wants in e-mail communication. Their attention to detail was impressive. For our last day they found an inexpensive but nice hotel in Kigali where we could rest for several hours before a 2:00 am airline flight. Gorilla trekking was simple for us because they purchased the permits, drove us from Kigali to the National Park area, drove us to the National Park headquarters for the morning briefing, then drove us to the trailhead for the trek, and booked us at a hotel that supplied gaiters for the muddy trek and even washed our shoes afterwards. We were most grateful to Emmanuel for leading us through all the National Park procedures. He negotiated for us an appropriate trekking group for our ages of 70 and 72 that made the experience most enjoyable and unforgettable.
We give New Horizons Africa Safaris our highest recommendation. They exceeded our expectations tremendously. We are very grateful to them for the opportunity to see beautiful Rwanda, to experience the country's incredible hospitality and to visit the mountain gorillas.

Amazing 2 day Chimpanzee trekking tour! We had a wonderful time with Emmanuel who shared such great history and perspective with us. He is a very safe driver and adaptive guide. The two day chimpanzees trekking tour allows you to get a little bit of everything and see so much of the country. Highly recommend!

Awesome Gorilla trekking trip Extremely well organized tour provider. From the initial contact to taking care of getting the Gorilla permits and providing transport back and forth from Kilgali I could not be more pleased. Our driver Yuhi was a super nice guy and took excellent care of us on the day of the trek.
