Gorilla trekking I did 1 day gorilla trekking at Volcanos National Park from Kigale and it was amazing. I was asked prior to my trip what gorilla group I want to go to and how far and I was picked up by my guide Christopher in a really nice SUV. The drive wasnt too long. The gorilla trekking was amazing, I highly recommend it to anybody!

Booking a tour with this operator was a breeze—they were fast, responsive, and easy to deal with, offering a high level of flexibility throughout the process. The itinerary they put together was well-planned yet adaptable, allowing for adjustments along the way.

A special shoutout to my driver/guide, Theo, who made the experience even better. He drove carefully and safely, was always friendly, helpful, and attentive, and had a deep knowledge of the region. His insights into local culture and traditions added great value to the trip. Additionally, his connections with the guides and staff at the national park proved to be extremely helpful.

One suggestion: For the chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe, I’d highly recommend using a 4x4 vehicle. The car we had struggled with the dusty and rough road between the visitor center and the chimpanzee gathering point.
