Montego Bay to Negril Jamaica Tours Ltd has a lot of negative reviews so I was VERY hesitant to select them for transfer from Montego Bay airport to Negril. There was, however, no way I was going to shell out over $200 for a private transfer as many have suggested. Waste of $$ in my opinion. Anyway, I ultimately chose Jamaica Tours for a shared transfer to Negril for a roundtrip cost of $70 for two through Expedia.
Upon arrival to Montego Bay airport it was easy to find the Jamaica Tours booth.
They were very efficient in getting us assigned to a Van. We had to wait around 30 min for other travelers to arrive. Van was old, shabby, a bit on the dirty side, and the seats were not very comfortable. A/C however was great. Took about 2 hours to get to our hotel (one other stop to drop off other travelers, a few traffic bottlenecks). BTW, the two lane road is awful with tons of potholes. Drivers are crazy and was glad to arrive safely. For the return trip back to Montego Bay airport our driver arrived exactly on time. We had several others to pick up. Again, took a little over 2 hours to get back to the airport. One bad thing was we had to get picked up way too far in advance of our flight leaving us 4 hours at the airport.
Contrary to other reviewers we did NOT have a bad experience. Van was definitely NOT a luxury vehicle but it was worth being able to save $$ to spend at the beach!

Driver left us in a puddle of water I had a very good experience going to jamaica last week Wednesday, the driver was very respectful and helpful and also very informative, made me proud to be jamaican but coming back on Sunday was a damn mess, the driver picked us up from bahia principe and I believed my trip was good until it started to rain on our way to the airport, we still weren't worried because we had no idea the driver was going to throw us out of the bus in a puddle of water with our suit cases which were soaked within seconds, he could have done better because we saw another jamaica tours driver pulled to the airport and out of the water, I guess our driver had somewhere else to go, but imagine flying for 3 hours soaked and my son who is 7 also got sick because of that.

The Real Jamaica Tour We took the Real Jamaica tour from Rose Hall Hilton .On our tour we saw spectacular views, fruits trees, and the beautiful people of Jamaica . It was our first time in Jamaica, so we didnt know what to expect. The island is even more divinely beautiful than the resort!! Our tour guide, Fitzroy, was an ace! He navigated skillfully , was positive, and was an easy conversationalist.
Nice tour, very insightful- Give this guide a raise !!
